We Are Nevada

Clark County encompasses 8,000 square miles and 2.3 million residents —accounting for 70% of Nevada’s population and making it Nevada’s largest county. It is also the nation’s 14th largest county, responsible for nearly half a million visitors to Southern Nevada annually as the 7th most frequented region in America.

The unincorporated areas of Clark County comprise all land outside of the cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Mesquite and Nellis Air Force Base. Nearly half of Clark County is unincorporated, accounting for a population of one million residents. Clark County provides municipal services to the unincorporated parts of the county, including Winchester, Laughlin, Sunrise Manor, and Paradise.

The 18b Arts District

The Confluence of Life and Art

Since 2015, the 18b Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas (DTLV) has been the epicenter of all things culturally impressive. From hip coffee shops to mid-century art galleries, The DTLV Arts footprint encompasses a vibrant community of artists, events and businesses.

DTLV’s monthly arts festival, First Friday, showcases local artists, musicians and makers. The area is also home to a smattering of art galleries, culinary delights, bars and nightlife activities such as the Arts Factory; where an interactive walkthrough allows 30 artists to each emphasize their own style, from traditional to wild.

Las Vegas Strip

For over eighty years, the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise and Winchester has been the home of a constantly growing hospitality industry, providing employment for thousands of those living in unincorporated Clark County. Stretching over three miles of hotels, casinos, shopping and entertainment, the Las Vegas Strip is the first, but definitely not the last place offering high entertainment value in unincorporated Clark County.

Harry Reid International Airport

Flying High for Business

As one of the top ten largest airports in the U.S., Harry Reid International Airport is a jewel in the crown of unincorporated Clark County, offering non-stop international flights to many countries as well as to all major economic and population centers throughout the United States.

Since 1948 the airport has strengthened the region’s economy with $3 billion in exported commercial goods supporting an estimated 11,000 Clark County jobs. In 2012 the airport added a third terminal to accommodate rapid growth of domestic and international flights.

Summerlin

With over 200 miles of trails connecting the neighborhood’s villages, Summerlin is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. Offering 10 nationally-recognized private schools and 16 public schools, as well as several colleges and higher education facilities, there’s opportunities for everyone in Summerlin to love learning as much as the great outdoors.

Laughlin

Moapa Valley
