If you haven’t been here in recent years, you haven’t experienced Southern Nevada. While you may associate wild, over-the-top entertainment with the Vegas Strip, many of the cutting-edge innovations being made in the hospitality industry originate throughout Clark County. Every aspect of the hospitality industry, from food & beverage to recreation, to tourism and lodging is constantly being innovated and enhanced by some of the most creative minds in the world.
Whether it’s Black Fire Innovations’ ongoing event series highlighting how businesses should operate in a technology-driven world or the county’s commitment and plan to modernize infrastructure and operations, our region is pushing the bounds for what hospitality can look and feel like in the 21st century.
Black Fire Innovation (in partnership with Caesars Entertainment) has provided a living lab where students from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas can get hands-on experience and entrepreneurs can test their ideas. The state-of-the-art space is optimized and technologically-enhanced for individuals looking to push the bounds of creative collaboration, live-streaming, and innovative experimentation.
Additionally, business leaders can forge connections in Black Fire’s co-working space to kickstart technological solutions in several emerging virtual industries. This is a space where anything feels possible.
Clark County is always looking towards a more convenient and intuitive future.
As the county strives to serve its residents, businesses and visitors with more robust access to services, its mission has evolved. Modernization is paramount, with dedicated mobile support, data analysis, security and engagement portals for communities promising to strengthen innovation throughout Southern Nevada.
The county is also working to collaborate with organizations like the Regional Transportation Commission, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, law enforcement agencies, hospitals and other groups to solve civic problems with fact-based research.
