University of Nevada Las Vegas, DeVry University, Nevada State College and others contribute to Clark County’s strong workforce. Additionally, between 2010 and 2018, Clark County experienced a 14.4% population growth – double the national average for that time.

Clark County encompasses 8,000 square miles and five incorporated cities. Clark County has jurisdiction over all unincorporated areas, rural and urban, including the Las Vegas Strip. Clark County is the most populated region in Nevada. Businesses have access to 10 major U.S. cities and Mexico within a day’s drive, which puts them at the doorstep of 60 million potential customers.

Interstate 15, U.S. 95 and U.S. 93 provide unparalleled access from Clark County to the West Coast market, while Harry Reid International Airport maintains a seamless connection to the global marketplace.

The focus of the Clark County Redevelopment Agency (CCRDA) is to create a coordinated effort for addressing mature areas of unincorporated Clark County that may be experiencing blight and decreased social, financial and economic investment.

The Clark County Economic Development Strategic Plan includes an economic and community assessment, asset map, and SWOT analysis, while also laying out a strategic vision, goals, and an action plan to achieve this vision. An evaluation framework is also provided to measure the county’s progress on several key performance metrics.
